Hummel Figurine Proud Moments Bermuda Longtails Edition was created for the Bermuda Islands. The pages of the book shows the Island Bird of Bermuda "Longtails" a large seagull. On the other page is a map of Bermuda with the dates 1504-1609. The year 1504 was when Bermuda was first mentioned in a document of seafarers. The year 1609 was when a ship on the way to Virginia (Jamestown) was storm wrecked and the first permanent settlement on Bermuda was established. This is why this Hummel was created. Only a small mintage of this Hummel was produce and has been a great seller in Bermuda. This is truly a unique Hummel Figurine.
